Meet Kanday Anjanappa, a 7th-generation artist, who excels in Tholu Bommalata, the craft of leather puppetry. His journey began at age six, learning from his father, and by age ten, he was already skilled. He's overcome challenges, excelling in exhibitions and language barriers.

Anjanappa's family has a rich history in Tholu Bommalata, and he leads a team of 15 artisans. His true passion lies in performing puppet shows and conveying social messages through drama. He collaborates with organizations like MeMeraki and takes his craft worldwide.

Kanday Anjanappa is a remarkable artist, custodian of tradition, and source of inspiration for future generations, with his creations available globally.
