About the Artwork +
Sanjay Chitara portrays a captivating work that delves into the enigmatic and complex aspects of the divine. This stunning artwork portrays Jogni Mata as a symbol of the dual nature of Mahadevi, or the Mother Goddess. She embodies the contrasting facets of life and death, creation and destruction, immortality and temporality. In the painting, Jogni Mata's portrayal exudes an air of mystique and power. She stands as a visual representation of the intricate dance of life's contradictions, where the act of creation necessitates destruction and renewal follows annihilation. Sanjay Chitara's skillful brushwork and use of vibrant colours bring forth the essence of Jogni Mata's dualistic nature, evoking a sense of awe and contemplation. It is a testament to the depth and diversity of belief systems that explore the multifaceted nature of the divine, reminding viewers that within these contradictions lies the essence of profound wisdom and eternal truths.
