Md Sayeed Ahmed have designed the Khaja Miya Bidri plates in an innovative and aesthetic approach by arranging the designs in a harmonious and proportional fashion. Circular arrangements often hold auspicious connotations in various cultures, placing paisley patterns in a circular design enhances the sense of auspiciousness and positive energy associated with both the paisley motif and the circular layout. The union of paisley patterns in Bidri art arranged circularly reflects the artist's respect for tradition and cultural heritage, infusing the motif with the traditional art form, the artist creates a piece resonating with both local and international audiences.

We ship worldwide, Our Prices are inclusive of GST/Taxes in India. For International Orders, any specific custom duties you may encounter in your home country during the delivery has to borne by the buyer.

For all artworks expect Lippan and Terracotta, No additional charges are applicable for domestic deliveries. For International Orders shipping charges of ₹2500 INR are applicable.

Shipping and Returns +

All artworks are packed and couriered securely in a tube.

Ready To Ship/ In Stock artworks are shipped in under 2 weeks. We only accept return requests for Ready to Ship/ In stock artworks placed within a week from date of delivery.

Made To Order artworks will take 2-3 weeks to be made and shipped once they are ready. Returns are not applicable on Made To Order artworks.

Bidri, an esteemed export handicraft of India, holds a special place in Sayeed Ahmed's artistic repertoire. The meticulous process of creating Bidriware involves intricate techniques such as applying ammonium chloride to selectively dissolve zinc on brass surfaces, followed by oxidation and rinsing to reveal striking silver designs against a deep black backdrop. Sayeed Ahmed's mastery of this process shines through in his creations, reflecting his deep-rooted connection to his craft and heritage.
