Despite his modest educational background, having completed his studies up to the ninth grade in Baghmundi, Dharmendra's talent has been recognized with prestigious accolades, including multiple state awards and a national award for his exceptional craftsmanship, notably for his creation of Ghatotkach, a character from Hindu mythology.
