Having imbibed the exquisite art of Kantha from her maternal lineage, Mahamaya Ji generously imparts her mastery to a collective of approximately 300 women. Through her guidance, she not only offers them a valuable source of income but also ignites a fervent passion for quilting among younger generations.
Each day, Mahamaya Ji's journey commences with nurturing and directing artisans in their respective tasks, diligently overseeing their progress until the sun bids farewell. Under her nurturing leadership, she fosters an atmosphere of camaraderie and productivity, where artisans share their daily achievements over evening tea.
Despite the laborious process involved, with some creations demanding up to a year's dedication, Mahamaya's unwavering guidance ensures that simpler quilts reach completion within mere months.
